Bathroom Accessibility Upgrades

Improve bathroom safety and accessibility with upgrades selected around the needs of the homeowner.

Available improvements may include low-threshold showers, walk-in showers, built-in seating, grab bars, handheld shower fixtures, accessible shelving, improved lighting, easier-to-use controls, and other modifications that support safer daily use.

We evaluate the existing space and recommend practical improvements based on access, layout, and installation requirements.

Plan features as a coordinated layout

Lower thresholds, handshowers, seating, grab bars and storage should be planned together around the person using the shower. The Design Studio warns about common placement conflicts, but its scene remains conceptual.

Field verification

Blocking, anchors, support, reach ranges, clearances, slope and applicable local requirements are evaluated before the final layout is approved. A low threshold, ramp, seat or grab bar is not presented as an automatic ADA, barrier-free or code-compliance guarantee.
